Joey Carbery will earn his first start for Munster on Friday night as he has been named in the starting XV for the southern province’s clash with the Ospreys at Musgrave Park in Cork (KO 7.35 pm).
The former Leinster out-half has made two appearances for Munster so far which has seen him come off the bench in games against the Cheetahs at Thomond Park and away to the Glasgow Warriors last weekend.
It’s looking already like a must-win clash for Johann van Graan’s side as they came away with nothing after their 25-10 loss at Scotstoun.
In total, there are 11 changes to the starting XV from last Friday.
Andrew Conway comes in on the wing while Dan Goggin will partner Sammy Arnold in midfield. Carbery and Duncan Williams form the half-back partnership.
In the front row, James Cronin, Rhys Marshall and Stephen Archer all come in while Darren O’Shea and Tadhg Berine start in the engine room.
In the back row, Peter O’Mahony and Chris Cloete comes into the side while Arno Botha keeps his place at the base of the scrum.
