Conor McGregor has once again hit out at the boxer Floyd Mayweather as the pair’s rivalry continues to pick up momentum as the year 2018 unfolds.
Is the world really ready for a sequel to August’s boxing extravaganza between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor?
I’d wager that a good 90% of you would pass and really, it’s not hard to see why.
For all of the glitz and glamour that came with the unprecedented build-up to the ‘Money-Fight’, when the event was finally through, and Floyd Mayweather stood on the ropes ready to announce his retirement, the combat sporting world collectively had an odd feeling of emptiness.
Sure, a lot of us were invested in the fight itself and the mystique that McGregor brought to the table. Could he be the one to finally crack the puzzle that was presented by Floyd? That was the question that drew us in, but alas, it was not to be, and though the Irishman did himself justice, he proved to be no match for the legendary pugilist inside the squared circle.
Now, after a brief, but public back-and-forth that saw both men trade barbs via Twitter, McGregor has once again attacked the boxer, calling him a rat.

One would hope we are not about to be treated to Mayweather/McGregor II, but still, at this rate, who knows!
