Golf Clubs Across Ireland To Vote On Establishment Of New Governing Body

On Saturday 19th January 2019 golf clubs across Ireland will vote on a proposal to establish a new governing body for golf – Golf Ireland.

This new body will replace the Golfing Union of Ireland, Irish Ladies Golf Union and The Confederation of Golf in Ireland with a single organisation.

Clubs across the island of Ireland are now being asked for their approval so that Golf Ireland can become a reality.

Make sure you and your club are fully briefed. Both the GUI and ILGU Board are in favour of the proposal and are encouraging clubs to vote in favour of Golf Ireland.
